The current makeup of the Illinois Supreme Court is 4-3, majority Democrat. Five districts elect 7 justices and Chicago’s Cook County elects THREE of them. The justices elect the Chief Justice by majority vote.

I’m running in the 2nd District, covering Lake, McHenry, Kane, DeKalb and Kendall Counties. With the new map, District 2 is the absolute battleground for the leanings and therefore rulings of the Court moving forward.

Do we want “business as usual,” something worse, or do we want to renew and restore Illinois with a sense of hope and a brighter, less corrupt future?
